Salsa Del Norte

  1. Heat broiler.
  2. Place tomatoes on a small baking sheet lined with foil.
  3. Broil 15-18 minutes, turning a couple times until soft, skins have split, and there are some dark spots.
  4. Allow to cool slightly.
  5. Place tomatoes with rest of ingredients in a blender.
  6. Puree.
  7. Serve warm or refrigerate for later use.
