Pinwheel Steak Strips Recipe

  1. Lb.
  2. steaks to 1/4 inch thickness, using a meat mallet.
  3. Cut each steak lengthwise into 4 strips (about 1 1/2 inches wide).
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Place cream cheese in s mall bowl.
  6. Beat till creamy.
  7. Stir in 2 Tbsp.
  8. chives, lemon pepper seasoning and garlic.
  9. Spread cream cheese mix down center of each strip of meat.
  10. Roll strips, jelly roll fashion, and secure with wooden toothpicks.
  11. Place pinwheels in a shallow dish.
  12. Cover and refrigerateat least 1 hour.
  13. Transfer pinwheels to a rack in a roasting pan.
  14. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 20 min.
  15. Uncover and bake an additional 20 to 30 min or possibly to a desired degree of doneness.
  16. Remove wooden picks.
  17. Transfer to serving platter and garnish with additional chives.
  18. Serves 8.
