Great Grandmother's Holiday Peanut Butter Roll Recipe

  1. Combine sugar, syrup and water and cook till hard ball forms when tested in cool water.
  2. Beat egg whites till stiff, pour half of syrup mix over egg whites, beating continuously.
  3. Put rest of syrup mix back on stove and cook till forms hard ball when tested in cool water.
  4. Pour over the egg mix and beat till hard sufficient to roll out.
  5. Roll about 1/4 inch thick and spread with peanut butter, then roll up like a jelly roll.
  6. Slice and serve.
