Amish Starter Chocolate Cake Recipe

  1. Cream shortening and sugar.
  2. Add in Large eggs, Amish batter and vanilla.
  3. Beat 2 min on medium speed.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine cocoa, baking soda, salt, flour and baking pwdr Add in flour mix to batter alternately with cool water.
  5. Beat 1 minute on medium speed.
  6. Fold in nuts by hand.
  7. Pour into greased and floured 9x12 pan.
  8. Bake at 375 F 30-40 min.
