Heath Bar Cookies Recipe
- 1 box saltine crackers
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. real butter
- 1 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1 (6 ounce.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- Line 11 x 15 inch jelly roll pan with saltines.
- Fill in edges with broken pcs of crackers.
- Heat butter, butter and brown sugar in a saucepan.
- Bring to boil.
- Cook and stir for full 3 min.
- Pour mix over crackers.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 5 min.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with the chocolate morsels.
- Wait a few min to let them soften, then spread chocolate to edge of pan.
- Allow to cold, cut into bars with knife.
- Makes 30-40 bars.
