Breakfast Egg Casserole Recipe
- 8-12 Large eggs
- 1 pound sausage or possibly minced ham or possibly bacon
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 2 c. grated cheese
- 1 (4 ounce.) can liquid removed mushrooms
- 1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- Paprika
- Heat 3 Tbsp.
- of butter in a saucepan.
- Add in 1/4 c. flour; mix into a paste.
- Add in 2 c. lowfat milk, cook to make sauce.
- Add in grated cheese.
- Cook 1 lb.
- of sausage, minced ham or possibly bacon.
- Scramble 8-12 Large eggs.
- Mix all ingredients together, except bread crumbs.
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Add in liquid removed mushrooms.
- Spread in 9 x 12 inch pan.
- Cover with dry bread crumbs.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Chill overnight.
- In morning put in 350 degree oven and bake for 30 min or possibly till done.
- Serves 12.
