Pepperoni Pizza Lasagna Rolls

  1. For the sause: in a large pan over medium low heat.
  2. Heat butter & Olive oil.
  3. Add oinion & garlic.
  4. Saute till tender.
  5. About 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in tomatoes, tom.
  7. Paste, basil, oregano, sugar, red pepper flakes.
  8. Bring sause to a boil.
  9. Place a lid on it.
  10. Tilted to let steam out.
  11. Simmer 15 minutes.
  12. Cool slightly.
  13. For lasagna roll: preheat oven to 350.
  14. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  15. Once cooked drain , rinse with cold water.
  16. Lay out on sheets of wax paper.
  17. So they do not stick together.
  18. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
  19. & spread 1/2 cup sause on bottom of pan
  20. Meanwhile prepare filling in a large bowl.
  21. Add beaten egg, ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese , 1/2 cuo parmesan, parsley, pepper, until blended.
  22. To prepare lasagana rolls.
  23. Lay out 1 noodle & spread it with 2 Tbsp.
  24. Of cheese filling 5-6 pepperoni on top of the cheese.Roll each noodle starting at one end.
  25. Place in prepared pan.
  26. Seam side down.
  27. Repeat until all noodles are rolled up.
  28. pour 1 &1/2 cups sause over noodles .
  29. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup mozzarella & 1/4 cup parm cheese.
  30. Cover with foil & bake 45-50 minutes.
  31. Remove foil last 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted & hot.
  32. Let stand 10 minutes.
