Isabelle's Mustard Pickles

  1. Peel and slice the cucumbers and the onions.
  2. Sprinkle with the 3 tablespoons pickling salt and let stand overnight.
  3. Drain in the morning.
  4. Boil together the brine ingredients until they are thickened.
  5. Pour over pickles.
  6. Boil 15 minutes or more.
  7. Put into hot sterile jars.
