Homemade Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
- 1 lb (.5 kg). ground beef
- 3 extremely thin boneless pork cuts
- 2 cans Italian seasoned tomato paste
- 1 28 oz (784 grm). can ground peeled tomatoes
- 28 oz (784 grm). water
- Italian seasoning
- granulated garlic(not garlic powder)
- dry minced onion
- 2 bay leaves
- grated parmesan cheese
- 6 spicy Italian sausages(or sweet if you prefer)
- 1 green pepper
- cooked pasta
- Cut onion into medium sized pieces.
- Mince garlic clove.
- Cut boneless pork into small pieces.
- Start with large sized pot.
- Add 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil to pot.
- Add ground beef.
- Add onions, garlic and pork to pot.
- Put stove on low heat and let simmer until beef is brown.
- Then add 2 cans of Italian seasoned tomato paste.
- Mix well.
- Add 28 oz (784 grm).
- can of ground peeled tomotoes.
- Add 28 oz (784 grm).
- water(use can as meauring tool for water).
- Let this cook on high until it starts to boil.
- When it starts boiling add sausages.
- Turn heat to low.
- Add Italian seasoning, granulated garlic, dry minced onion, and parmesan cheese to your own tasting.
- Put bay leaves in sauce.
- Stir sauce often so it doesn't burn.
- After sausages have been cooking for 15 to 20 minutes slice green pepper and put it into sauce.
- Cook on low until sausages are completely cooked.
- Serve over your preference of pasta.
