Chicken Mushroom Timbales Recipe
- 2 c. cooked chicken
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/2 c. liquid non-dairy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon monosodium glutamate
- 1 dash white pepper
- 1/2 c. celery
- 1 c. oatmeal, uncooked
- 4 1/2 jar sliced mushrooms
- In large bowl combine 2 c. diced, cooked chicken, 2 Large eggs, non-dairy cream, salt and monosodium glutamate, dash white pepper, 1 Tbsp.
- steak sauce, celery, 1 c. uncooked oatmeal and 4 1/2 oz jar of sliced mushrooms, liquid removed.
- Blend mix well, divide equally into 6 well greased custard c. and bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45 min.
- Turn out onto platter covered with greens or possibly endives and pour warm cheese sauce over each.
- Warm Cheese Sauce: Mix 1 can cheese soup with 1/2 can of lowfat milk which has been cooked till smooth.
