Calf's Liver With Onion Sauce Recipe

  1. Have the liver sliced into 4 thin slices.
  2. Dip in the flour mixed with the salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the fat in a skillet and brown the liver on both sides.
  4. Remove liver.
  5. Brown the onions in the fat remaining in the pan.
  6. Mix the cornstarch and broth together and add in to the onions, stirring constantly till mix reaches the boiling point.
  7. Scrape the bottom of skillet and cook additional 2 min.
  8. Pour over the liver.
  9. Serves 4.
