Apricot Spice Butter Recipe
- 4 lb Apricots Sugar
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Cloves Juice and grated peel of 1 lemon
- Wash, peel and pit apricots; cut into small pcs.
- Cook in their own juices over a very low heat till fruit is soft.
- Measure apricot pulp; add in 1/2 c. sugar for each c. of apricot pulp.
- Add in remaining ingredients and cook till thick.
- Ladle into sterilized jars and seal.
