Orange Buttermilk Salad

  1. In a saucepan, bring pineapple to a boil.
  2. Remove from the heat; add gelatin and stir to dissolve.
  3. Add buttermilk and mix well.
  4. Cool to room temperature.
  5. Fold in whipped topping.
  6. Pour into an 11x7-inch dish.
  7. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
  8. Cut into squares.
