Grandmother's Sausage & Cheese Bread Recipe
- 1 loaf frzn bread dough
- 1 pound sausage (any kind)
- 1/4 stick melted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 pkg. (8 ounce.) grated mozzarella cheese
- Makes 2 loaves.
- Set oven to 325 degrees.
- Divide 1 loaf frzn bread dough in half.
- Let raise to twice the size.
- Roll each piece out in a long piece.
- Cook sausage, drain very well.
- Spread some melted butter on dough, sprinkle on some garlic pwdr, add in sausage, then add in cheese.
- Roll lengthwise and healthy pinch to close.
- Let raise 1 hour.
- Brush on melted butter, sprinkle top with garlic pwdr.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 30 min or possibly till light brown on bottom.
