Wiener Sausage Bread

  1. Make the bread dough.
  2. Let it rise.
  3. (About 30 minutes)
  4. Quickly boil the wiener sausages.
  5. Divide the dough, punch down the dough, round the portions, and let rest (about 15 minutes).
  6. Press gently with your fingers, then roll out with a rolling pin (to about the width of the sausages).
  7. Wrap the wiener up in the dough.
  8. Cut into 3 pieces with a knife.
  9. Arrange the pieces in foil with the inner sections on top.
  10. Let rise until doubled (about 30 minutes).
  11. Brush with egg wash, and add the toppings (mayonnaise, cheese).
  12. Bake in an oven preheated to 180C for 13~15 minutes.
  13. Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle with parsley.
  14. You can also top with ketchup.
  15. When reheating, remove the foil, wrap in plastic, and heat in the microwave for about 20 seconds (500 W).
  16. Then they'll taste as if they're fresh out of the oven.
  17. I baked the dough as a log, omitting Step 6 (I added ketchup on top).
