Lemon Rolls
- 12 Frozen bread dinner rolls thawed but still cold. I use the Rhodes brand.
- 2 Lemons zested
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Melted butter
- 1 ~~~GLAZE~~~
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp Melted butter
- 2 tbsp Fresh lemon juice from zested lemons
- Mix lemon zest and sugar together.
- Cut bread rolls in half and place in a sprayed 9X13 baking dish.
- Drizzle 1/4 cup of melted butter over rolls.
- Sprinkle 1/2 of the lemon zest & sugar mixture over rolls.
- Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise until double in size.
- Remove wrap and sprinkle remaining half of the lemon zest/sugar mixture.
- Place in 350F preheated oven for 20 - 25 minutes.
- Combine and mix glaze ingredients.
- Drizzle over finished rolls.
