Bloody Berry

  1. Puree strawberries and lime juice in blender until smooth.
  2. Strain through fine sieve, and discard seeds.
  3. Bring sugar, ginger, chiles, and 2 cups water to a boil in small saucepan.
  4. Reduce heat to low, and simmer, stirring until sugar has dissolved.
  5. Remove from heat, let stand 10 minutes, then strain, and discard solids.
  6. Cool.
  7. Whisk strawberry-lime juice and sugar mixture together in pitcher.
  8. Serve over ice.
