Salad Dressing (Miracle Whip) Cake Recipe

• 1 1/3 c. sugar
• 2 teaspoon soda
• 3 tbsp. cocoa
• 1 c. salad dressing (not mayonnaise)
• 1 c. boiling water
• 2 c. flour
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

1. Mix first 4 ingredients.
2. Add in water and mix well.
3. Add in flour and vanilla.
4. Pour into 9 x 13 inch greased and floured cake pan.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 min.
6. Make frosting.
7. Frosting: butter and egg yolks must be room temperature.
8. Combine evaporated lowfat milk, butter, sugar, vanilla and egg yolks in 2 qts saucepan.
9. Cook over medium heat (stirring occasionally) till thick about 12 min.
10. Remove from heat.
11. Add in coconut and nuts.
