Double Chocolate and Cherry Cookies
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 13 cups granulated sugar
- 23 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 12 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups dried tart cherries
- 1 12 cups chopped walnuts
- 1 12 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- Preheat Oven to 325 degrees.
- In large bowl, beat butter with electric mixer on medium high speed for 30 seconds.
- Add sugars, baking soda, and salt; beat until combined.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Beat in as much flour as you can with mixer.
- Stir in any remaining flour.
- Stir in dried cherries, walnuts, semisweet chocolate chips, and white baking chips(dough will be stiff).
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 14 to 16 minutes or until golden.
- Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute.
- Transfer to wire rack; cool.
