Southern-Style Cabbage Casserole
- 1/2 stick melted margarine
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 head cabbage, shredded
- 1 md. onion, shredded
- chopped
- Corn flakes
- 8 to 12 oz. mild shredded cheddar cheese
- Place shredded cabbage and onions in a large casserole dish.
- Mix margarine, soup and milk in a bowl.
- Stir with a wire whip until well blended.
- Pour over cabbage.
- Add cheese equally on top, then add as many corn flakes as desired as a topping.
- Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes at 350F.
