Cranberry Chutney
- 16 ounces fresh cranberries
- 34 cup brown sugar, packed
- 12 cup dark raisin
- 12 cup celery, diced
- 12 cup apple, diced
- 12 cup pear, diced
- 12 cup water
- 14 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 2 tablespoons candied ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 14 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon onion salt (optional)
- Combine all ingredients in large saucepan, & bring to boil, stirring constantly.
- Lower heat & simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cool to room temperature, then store in refrigerator will keep several weeks.
