Mexican Stye Chili
- 5 each onions medium, diced
- 4 stalks celery chopped
- 4 each garlic crushed
- 3 cans tomato sauce large
- 3 cans tomatoes large, stewed
- 3 cans red kidney beans large
- 12 ounces green chili peppers bo ortega
- 1 can salsa
- 3 ounces chili powder watkins
- 5 pounds ground chuck (ground beef)
- 1 Bottle red hot pepper sauce red devil
- Fry Onions, Celery and garlic until onions are transluscent.
- Put in large Cast iron or stainless pot.
- Brown Ground Chuck in skillet.
- Drain off liquid, and put in pot.
- Quarter tomatoes, and add to pot.
- Add kidney beans and tomato sauce to pot .
- Bring to boil, turn down heat and simmer slowly for 1hours, stirring often, to keep from sticking.
- Add green chili salsa, salt, chili powder, hot sauce (to taste).
- Simmer for two more hours.
