Picnic Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

• 4 Large eggs
• 2 1/2 c. sugar
• 6 c. lowfat milk (whole)
• 4 c. light cream
• 2 tbsp. vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

1. Beat Large eggs till light.
2. Add in sugar slowly, beating till thick.
3. Add in remaining ingredients; mix thoroughly.
4. Freeze in 5 qt freezer.
5. Use 6 parts ice to 1 part salt.
6. Remove dasher.
7. Cover top with several pcs waxed paper; replace lid.
8. Pack in ice and salt.
9. Let ripen a few hrs.
