My Chicken Pot Pie
- 2 cup diced potatoes
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp celery salt
- 1/2 tsp celery seed
- 1/2 tbsp salt,pepper each
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp basil ,oregano each
- 1 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/3 cup milk
- 4 cup cooked chicken
- 2 9" pie shells
- 2/3 cup chopped onion
- Vegetables add to skillet, then add the rest of ingredients mix well.
- If not thick enough CA make a mixture of equal parts flour an water.
- In a large pot boil potatoes an carrots, then in a skillet add butter, onions cook till translucent add milk an chicken stock,then drain
- Pour into one of the pie shells, then put other pie crust on top poke holes in top crust using fork so steam can escape, bake 45 minutes.
