Lasagna
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 16 oz. Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 c. fresh chopped parsley
- 1 (12 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
- 2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 to 2 boxes lasagna sheets
- 1 onion
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 (12 oz.) can pureed tomatoes
- 1/4 c. oregano
- 1/4 c. basil
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- Pour oil in a medium to large pot and add chopped onion and garlic.
- Let brown.
- Add ground beef.
- Let brown.
- Drain and add tomato sauce and pureed tomatoes and 8 ounces water.
- In a separate bowl, mix Ricotta cheese, parsley, Mozzarella cheese and eggs. Boil lasagna sheets.
- In a baking dish, put one layer meat sauce, one layer lasagna sheets and one layer cheese mix and repeat steps and bake at 425u0b0 for 30 minutes covered with foil.
