Pollo Sabroso

  1. Prepare salad dressing mix as directed on package; add adobo seasoning.
  2. Wash and dry chicken; pierce skin several times.
  3. Peel, crush and mince garlic; rub garlic onto chicken.
  4. Place chicken in zipper-style plastic bag; pour 1/2 of the dressing mixture into bag.
  5. Seal bag; turn over several times.
  6. Refrigerate, turning occasionally, at least 1 hour or overnight.
  7. Preheat broiler.
  8. Remove chicken from bag; discard dressing mixture in bag.
  9. Place chicken on broiler pan; brush with reserved dressing.
  10. Broil 12 to 15 minutes on each side or until chicken is cooked through occasionally brushing with dressing.
