Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter
- margarine, melted
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 6 to 12 oz. chocolate chips *
- 6 oz. butterscotch chips
- Chocolate chips, for topping (optional)
- Mix all ingredients by hand in a large mixing bowl.
- Spread in a 13x9x2-inch panand bake at 375F for 20 minutes.
- After baking, sprinkle chocolate chips on top and spread.
- Cool and cut into bars.
