Peanut Butter Truffle Brownies

  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Grease bottom only of 13x9 pan with cooking spray or shortening.
  3. ( for easier cutting, line pan with foil, then grease foil on bottom only of pan)
  4. In a medium bowl, stir brownie mix, pouch of chocolate syrup,water, oil and eggs until well blended.
  5. Spread in pan.
  6. Bake 28-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean.
  7. Cool completely, about 1 hour
  8. In a medium bowl, beat filling ingredients with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.
  9. ( ingredients for filling are from 1/2 cup butter to 2 tsp of milk.)
  10. Spread mixture evenly over brownie base.
  11. In a small microwaveable bowl, microwave topping ingredients on high 30-60 seconds ( ingredients for topping are 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips and 1/4 cup butter) stir until smooth.
  12. cool 10 minutes; spread over filling.
  13. Refrigerate about 30 minutes or until set.
  14. For brownies, cut into 9 rows by 4 rows.
  15. store covered in refrigerator.
