Gorgonzola & Black Mission Fig Cups

  1. Whip Gorgonzola cheese with cream until smooth.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Cut each fig into 12 wedges.
  4. Place in a shallow dish and add port and maple syrup.
  5. Stir to coat, then let stand for 10 minutes.
  6. Cover and refrigerate cheese and figs separately for up to 24 hours.
  7. Let stand for 30 minutes before continuing.
  8. Spoon or pipe 1 tsp cheese mixture into croustade cups, and top with fig wedge.
