Sour Cream Burgers Recipe
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/2 c. dairy lowfat sour cream
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 env. (about 1 1/2 ounce. size) onion soup mix (about 2 tbsp.)
- Dash of pepper
- Mix all ingredients.
- Shape mix into 4 patties, each about 3/4 inch thick.
- Set oven control to broil and/or possibly 550 degrees.
- Place patties on rack in broiler pan.
- Broil with tops about 3 inches from heat till desired doneness, 5-7 min on each side for medium.
- To cook in microwave, place patties on microwave proof rack in microwave proof baking dish.
- Cover loosely and microwave on high (100%) 3 min, rotate dish 1/2 turn.
- Microwave till almost done, about 2 min longer.
- Let stand covered 3 min.
- (Beef will continue to cook while standing.)
