Roasted Green Tea Pudding

  1. Heat the roasted green tea leaves and the milk in a small pan.
  2. When it gets bubbly, turn the heat to low and simmer it for 2 minutes.
  3. Keep stirring with a spatula.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of water into the powdered gelatin.
  5. Microwave it for 20 seconds to heat and dissolve.
  6. Strain the simmered tea through a tea strainer as you transfer it into a bowl.
  7. Add the sugar and heavy cream to mix.
  8. Add the dissolved gelatin and mix with a whisk.
  9. Cool the bowl in ice water as you stir the mixture occasionally.
  10. When it gets thick, transfer it into a container.
  11. Chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours to harden.
  12. Combine the ingredients for the whipped cream in a different bowl.
  13. Whip until it forms stiff peaks.
  14. Top pudding with whipped cream and tea leaves just before serving.
