Microwave Stuffed Peppers Recipe
- 5 green peppers (tops removed & seeded)
- 3/4 pound grnd beef
- 1 c. Minute Rice
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon grnd pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 5 slices sharp cheddar cheese (opt.)
- Put peppers in microwave ring mold or possibly microwave pie plate.
- Mix ingredients except tomato sauce and cheese.
- Spoon into peppers.
- Pour tomato sauce over peppers and cover with plastic wrap.
- Cook 20 to 25 min or possibly till peppers are tender and mix is done.
- Remove plastic wrap and top each pepper with cheese if you like.
- Return plastic wrap and let stand 10 min.
