Stir-fried pork and cabbage
- 1 kg pork, thinly sliced
- 1 cup cabbage, chopped into small pieces
- 1 head garlic, crushed and diced
- 1 tbsp ginger, julienned
- 1/4 cup light soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 4 tbsp Chinese rice wine, dry sherry, or rum
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- Mix cornsarch, water, and oyster sauce in a bowl.
- Set aside.
- Heat a wok.
- Make sure it's piping hot before putting in vegetable oil.
- Then, stir fry ginger and garlic in high heat for about 20 seconds.
- Add in pork.
- Season with soy sauce and pepper.
- Cook for at least 3 minutes in high heat.
- Add in cabbage.
- Season with liquor of choice and sesame oil.
- Cook for 1 minute in high heat.
- Pour in cornstarch mix and keep stirring in high heat for about a minute.
- Top with sesame seeds for presentation's sake.
- Serve with rice.
- Done!
