Cherry Topped Eggnog Ring
- 1 pkg (85 g) Jell-O Cherry Jelly Powder
- 1 can (10 oz/ 284 mL) mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 cup chopped apple Safeway 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 pkg (85 g) Jell-O Lemon Jelly Powder
- 1 cup each: boiling water and eggnog
- 1 tub (500 mL) Cool Whip Whipped Topping, thawed
- PREPARE cherry jelly powder according to 30-minute Set Method on package.
- Add mandarin oranges and apples.
- Spoon into a 6-cup jelly mold.
- Chill until set, but still sticky to touch.
- MEANWHILE, dissolve lemon jelly powder in boiling water.
- Cool 10 minutes.
- Add eggnog.
- Chill until slightly thickened.
- FOLD jelly mixture into 1 cup of the topping.
- Spoon over fruit layer in mold.
- Chill.
- UNMOLD onto serving plate.
- Garnish with remaining topping.
