Candy Lasses Recipe

  1. BAKE at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 min.
  2. MAKES about 3 dozen cookies.
  3. Sifttogether dry ingredients.
  4. Cream butter.
  5. Add in sugar and brown sugar, creaming well.
  6. Blend in egg and molasses; beat well.
  7. Stir in crushed candy and the dry ingredients.
  8. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
  9. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 12 to 15 min.
  10. Cold 5 min before removing from baking sheets.
  11. If you like, frost with Peppermint Frosting.
  12. *For use with Pillsbury's Best Self-Rising Flour, omit baking pwdr and salt.
