Creme Filled Chocolate Cupcakes Recipe

  1. Place first 5 ingredients in large mixing bowl.
  2. Add in Large eggs, buttermilk, oil, vanilla, and baking soda liquid.
  3. Mix well and bake for 20 min at 350 degrees; cold.
  4. Place filling ingredients in medium mixing bowl and beat at least 5 min.
  5. Then add in 1/2 c. powdered sugar.
  6. Beat again, place filling in a decorating tube.
  7. Poke tube into cupcake and fill center of cupcake with filling.
  8. Frost with your favorite frosting.
  9. Kids love these especially with surprise filling.
  10. NOTE: I only use Crisco shortening for filling, all others taste too greasy.
