Chicken & vegetable soup.
- 8 medium carrots
- 2 large onions
- 1 medium sweed
- 3 medium parsnips
- 1 clove garlic chopped
- 1 small sweet potato
- 3 medium potatoes
- 1 medium leek
- 1 chicken stock from 5 way chicken recipe
- 1 1/2 white cabbage diced
- 1 salt and pepper to taste
- 1 chicken soup powder
- 1 double cream ( optional )
- Dice onions, leek, and parsnips and fry on medium heat until taking color
- Place cabbage in large pot cover with water and boil untill cabbage breaks up.
- Peel and dice remaining veg and place in pot, and add chicken stock.
- Bring veg to boil and add onions and parsnips
- Rolling boil untill veg cooked.
- Add chicken soup powder or corn flour and herbs of choice and simmer untill flour cooked out and soup thickened.
- Season to taste.
- Serve with fresh bread and cream.
