Crock Pot Ham & Beans
- 2 lbs dry pinto beans
- 1 onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 bay leaves
- 12-1 lb ham
- Cover dry beans with water, leaving at least an inch of water over the top of the beans.
- Soak over night.
- Drain and rinse beans.
- Return to crock pock with 12 cups water.
- Saute chopped onion and diced garlic cloves in olive oil with salt and pepper until softened.
- Add saute, chopped ham and two bay leaves to crock pot.
- Cook on high for one hour.
- Cook on low for 7 hours.
- Remove bay leaves and enjoy.
