Eric's Montreal Famous Ribs

  1. Boil between 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 lbs of ribs in water for 1 hour.
  2. Mix all other ingredients together except the onion.
  3. Put the ribs by layers and put thin onion slices between the layers.
  4. Pour the mix on top and cook for 8 hours on LOW.
  5. At the end I thicken the gravy with 1 tsp of corn starch in 2 tbsp of cold water which I then pour in the hot gravy.
  6. It take about 15 minutes to get tick.
