Turkey Spirals
- 4 turkey breast steaks
- 4 teaspoons tomato puree
- 12 ounce large fresh basil leaf
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 2 tablespoons wholemeal flour
- salt and pepper
- Place turkey steaks on a board and flatten with a rolling pin.
- Spread each steak with tomato puree, then top with a few leaves of basil, a little crushed garlic and salt and pepper.
- Roll up firmly around the filling and secure with a cocktail pick.
- Brush with milk and sprinkle with flour to coat lightly.
- Place the spirals on a foil lined grill pan.
- Cook under a moderate heat grill for 15-20 minutes, turning them until thoroughly cooked.
- Serve hot, sliced.
