Savory Mushroom Toasts

  1. Place slice baguette on a baking sheet and broil just until they start to brown; turn and place back under broiler for about one minute.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Place butter in skillet over medium heat.
  4. When melted, add mushrooms, green onions, salt and pepper.
  5. Cook about 4 minutes or until mushrooms are soft.
  6. Add half-and-half, Parmesan and parsley; stir and cook for about 2 minutes.
  7. Spoon over toasts and place under the broiler for about 2 minutes.
  8. Watch carefully and remove when edges of the bread start to brown.
  9. Serve immediately.
  10. Enjoy!
