Turkey 3 Bean Chili
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1 -2 teaspoon Lawry's Seasoned Salt
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon matouk's hot pepper sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, sliced
- 8 ounces mixed mushrooms, sliced
- 1 roma tomato, diced
- 1 (30 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can great northern beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (8 ounce) cansliced black olives
- 1 (8 ounce) can mild green chilies, chopped
- 10 ounces chicken stock (I used homemade)
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (30 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, and chillies (I used Rold Gold Hot variety)
- chili powder, maybe 1/2 tbsp
- cumin, maybe 1/2 tbsp
- In large bottomed saucepan cook turkey until almost done, with the seasoning salt, red pepper and hot sauce.
- Drain fat.
- Add chopped onion, green pepper and garlic and sautee a few minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Simmer on low heat for 15 min or so, until flavors are blended, but veggies are still crisp.
