MZ - Ham & Peas pasta
- 400 grams Rigatoni pasta
- 1 Sunflower oil
- 1/2 Onion
- 150 grams Frozen peas
- 100 grams Sliced pork loin ham
- 1 pinch Saffron (powder or string)
- 300 ml Single cream
- 35 grams Butter
- 1 Salt & pepper
- Start preparing the boiling water for the pasta.
- In a separate pan, cover the surface of the pan with the oil and in a soft heat make sure is hot.
- Once hot, add the onion, previously thinly cop.
- Cook for few minute and add the ham.
- The ham need to be in rectangular small pieces.
- Cook for few more minutes but do not make the onion burn.
- Add the frozen peas and wait ntil they get soft.
- At this point add the butter.
- Menawhile on the side the water is boiling and add about a spoon of salt in the water and add the pasta.
- In the sauce, when the butter is melted and migled well with all the ingrediens, pout the cream.
- Cook few minutes and add salt & pepper as you like and the saffron too.
- The pasta should be ready now.
- Eliminate the water and blend the pasta with the sauce.
- Job done.
