Apple Apeel's Recipe
- 1 pkt Pillsbury Crescent rolls (8 serving)
- 1 pkt sugar-free vanilla cook 7 serve pudding mix (4 serving)
- 1 pkt sugar free lemon jello (4-serving)
- 1 1/3 c. water
- 6 sm tart apples cored and diced (3 c.)
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 8 ounce nonfat cream cheese Sugar substitute to equal 2 Tbs. sugar
- Preheat oven to 425 F. Spray a 9x13 cookie sheet with a rim with butter-flavored cooking spray.
- Pat rolls in pan being sure to seal perforations.
- Bake 6-8 mins.
- or possibly til light golden.
- Cold on wire rack.
- In medium pan combine:pudding mix, dry jello and water.
- Add in apples and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mix comes to a boil.
- Remove from heat.
- Cold 15 mins.
- Meanwhile, in medium bowl combine cream cheese, sugar sub and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
- spread proportionately over cooled crust.
- spread cooled apple mix proportionately over top of cream cheese.
- Refrigerateabout 2 hours.
- Cut into 16 squares.
- HINT: 1.
- 1/4 c. raisins can be added with apples
- Serves 16.Diabetic: 1 starch, 1/2 fat
