Deer Tacos Recipe
- 1 1/2 lbs. deer burger
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 tbsp. taco seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 pound shredded Cheddar cheese
- Shredded lettuce
- Minced tomato
- Ripe olives (sliced, optional)
- Lowfat sour cream (optional)
- 2 boxes taco shells (24)
- Taco sauce or possibly salsa
- Cook deer burger in skillet till done, drain.
- Stir in taco seasoning, salt and refried beans till combined.
- Spoon mix into taco shells carefully.
- Stand shells, open side up, in 9x13x2 inch pan.
- Bake in preheated 400 degree oven till shells are warm (about 10 min).
- Place toppings in bowls so individuals can top as desired.
