Grilled Roast Beef and Cheese
- 1 lb thin sliced deli roast beef
- 1 lb sliced sharp cheddar cheese or your favorite cheese
- 8 slice marble rye bread or your favorite type of bread
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp hot sauce such as Frank's original
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp butter
- In a bowl combine mayonnaise, pepper, hot sauce and dijon mustard
- spread mixture evenly on one side of each bread sluce then evenly divide cheese on top of this .
- Now make 4 piles of roast beef and sandwich each one between the bread so that the roast beef is in the middle of the cheese covered bread to make 4 sandwiches
- Butter outside of sandwiches and heat a large skillet or griddle and cook both sides if sandwich until golden and cheese melts.
