Good Brown Stew Recipe
- 2 lbs. boneless beef chuck (1 inch cubes)
- 2 c. warm water
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 med. onion, sliced
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Healthy pinch of allspice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 6 carrots, halved
- 8 sm. onions
- 3 potatoes, quartered
- Thoroughly brown meat on all sides in warm fat in pressure cooker.
- Add in all ingredients except vegetables.
- Cook at 10 pounds for 30 min.
- Open cooker, add in vegetables, continue cooking 10 min at 10 pounds.
