Fried Egg Sandwich with Cream Cheese-Cheddar Spread

  1. Place the cream cheese in a small microwavable bowl, and heat in the microwave until soft.
  2. Add the mayonnaise, salt, onion powder, rosemary, and fresh ground pepper to taste.
  3. Stir until well combined.
  4. Add the shredded cheese.
  5. Microwave in 10 second intervals, until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  6. Spread some of the cheese mixture over two slices of bread.
  7. On the other 2 pieces of bread, layer lettuce, tomato, and if desired bacon.
  8. Set aside.
  9. In a small skillet, heat a tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
  10. When the pan is hot, add an egg and cook for 3-4 minutes, then gently flip.
  11. Cook the other side for about 30 seconds, then remove pan from heat.
  12. Slide the egg out of the pan and onto the sandwich.
  13. Season with fresh ground pepper and salt.
  14. Top with the other slice of bread.
  15. Repeat the process for additional sandwiches.
  16. Serve immediately and enjoy!
