Rachael's Yooper Stew
- 3 large Sweet potatos
- 5 medium Red potatos
- 4 tbsp Chopped garlic
- 3 cup Venison or beef stew meat
- 1 large Red onion
- 2 stock Finely chopped celery
- 2 medium Chopped carrots
- 2 packages Chopped mushrooms
- 1 tbsp Fresh chopped Parsley
- 1 tbsp Black pepper
- 3 tsp Sage
- 2 can Cream of mushroom soup (condensed)
- 3 tbsp Butter
- Toss butter, garlic, onions, celery and meat of choice into slow cooker on high
- Add sage, pepper and parsley
- Add peeled and chopped carrots, red and sweet potatos
- Let cook for 15 minutes
- Stir in condensed cans of cream of mushroom (do not add water)
- Let cook for about 2 hours on medium while checking occasionally
- Stew is done when sweet potatoes start mushing, making stew thicken.
- Times may vary depending on slow cookers.
