Rachael's Yooper Stew

  1. Toss butter, garlic, onions, celery and meat of choice into slow cooker on high
  2. Add sage, pepper and parsley
  3. Add peeled and chopped carrots, red and sweet potatos
  4. Let cook for 15 minutes
  5. Stir in condensed cans of cream of mushroom (do not add water)
  6. Let cook for about 2 hours on medium while checking occasionally
  7. Stew is done when sweet potatoes start mushing, making stew thicken.
  8. Times may vary depending on slow cookers.
  9. Enjoy :) Amazing with honeybutter biscuits!
