Knox Potato Salad

  1. Combine potatoes, eggs, celery and onions in a large bowl.
  2. Heat buttermilk and dissolve gelatin in it using a wire whip to get out any lumps.
  3. Add sour cream, mayonnaise, sugar, mustard and salt to buttermilk mixture.
  4. Pour buttermilk mixture over potatoes and chill for several hours.
  5. It will be very soupy but will set up when chilled.
